Tennis Anybody?*ARCHIVED 7-25-15* Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

The Scout Master: I dropped by to check on the cache. Unfortunately, it had been moved from its original spot, BUT as I went to grab it to move it I had a swarm of wasps appear from the hiding spot. I decided it was better to archive this one. Thanks to all who visited.

Geocache Description:

This is located at what used to be called Tryon Park and is now called Tryon Street Park and Recreation Center. It is part of the Greer City Recreation Department and houses the Tennis Center, Crossland Courts and The Cultural Arts Center. PERMISSION given by Robbie A. of Greer Parks and Recreation.

The park is a memorial for a long time tennis advocate, George Crossland. Crossland, who died in April of 2000, was also known as Mr. Tennis in the Greer Community.

I rated this a "2" terrain only because you must climb a short incline (about 45 degrees).

You MUST be able to reach 6 feet in height (hint, hint), this being said, Do Not climb on any structures there.

The cache is NOT inside the tennis court fence, in case your GPSr tries to tell you that.
It's A NANO!

Happy Caching!
