Geocache Description:

Lago Blanco in Tierra del Fuego, Chile is a paradise for the
fishermen. Is located in the Chilean area of the island and it is
posible to go by car crosing the Magallanes Strait.

Lago Blanco is located in the Chilean area of the island and it is posible to go by car crosing the Magallanes Strait by Ferry and driving trough a gravel road which is in a good condition. The total trip demand 6 to 7 hours from Punta Arenas until the cabins of Cerro Sombrero Fishing Club, an excellent lodge for fishermen and people who loves the outdoors. In winter season could be difficult due to ice and snow, the best time is from September to April. There is no big mountains and the road was built in a flat terrain.The cache is a plastic and transparent box covered with a black bag
and contains fishing tools, soap, pencils, and other little things.
It is located outside the property of the Fishing Club close the
public road and also very close the lake border.
