The Fulton Union Cemetery occupies land deeded to John Viers in 1834. The first burial was Mrs. Harris, wife of William H., Harris, who died in 1836. The burial ground was first known as the Viers Cemetery. Since 1860 the cemetery has been the responsibility of the Fulton Township trustees. Nice job Mighty Mo for the FTF!
