Geocache Description:

En période de plus hautes eaux, le lac de la Vingeanne offre une surface de 199 ha. Il détient la plus longue digue des 4 lacs, érigée en 1906. Il est très apprécié par les ornithologues qui viennent observer les migrations et le séjour de nombreuses espèces d’oiseaux grâce au circuit de découverte et à l’observatoire. La base de loisirs et la plage sont idéales pour se distraire en famille.

La cache se situe à Verseilles-le-Haut, qui domine le lac et offre un très joli point de vue sur le lac.

When water levels are high, the lake of "La Vingeanne" covers some 199 ha. The dyke, built in 1906, is the longest of all the four lakes. Bird enthusiasts enjoy watching the many local and migrating birds from the observation post or along the paths (with information boards). The recreation centre and the beach are also great for families.

The cache is situated to Verseilles-le-Haut, who dominates the lake and offers a very attractive point of view on the lake.
