A scenic trail cache along the river.
This trail will take you to a scenic overlook of the Kennebunk River which is part of the cache name. Trail is open Dawn to Dusk only.
Cache: The cache is a small lock n’ lock with log, pencil and some small swag. There is no FTF prize in this cache. The view is the prize.
Cache Location: The trail leading to the cache is off of Old Port Road in Kennebunk. Parking is limited to pulling off the shoulder near the gate which marks the beginning of the trail. Follow the trail to the scenic overlook (coords posted). Take a few minutes to appreciate the view. Take the trail from the scenic overlook along the river until the GPS points you into the woods. The trail is relatively easy going and is about .5 miles roundtrip.
Please try to limit bushwhacking to avoid any damage to the flora and fauna.
