For those of us who remember, the 3x3 fuel levy was introduced in 1989 and was supposed to last three years but survived until 2000, when it was absorbed into the total fuel excise. Once we get levies, they tend to stick around.
This is one of the projects that received some of those funds. It was officially opened on the 1st April 1992.
This is a busy road so some stealth may be required at times.
