Situated atop Mt Panorama, McPhillamy Park is well know to the V8 Motor racing spectators that like the top of the hill, but it is also can be a quiet place for a picnic and is a fantastic spot to see the fine views over Bathurst and the surrounding farms.
It is named after the man who donated the land for the circuit, and was know back then as Bald Hill.
The cache location also overlooks the motorcycle enduro circuit.
