My grandmother was raised on a homestead a couple of miles west of here and about 100 years ago my grandfather farmed here for a while. He donated this spot of land to Hope Lutheran Church. The church later burned down and was rebuilt in Rush Center where it is still active today. Many of my relatives I remember as a child are close by now. Watch out for thorns, ticks and critters. Cache is a dark green standard ammo box.
