Hidden Oak Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Nomex: Hi
As there's been no cache to find for months, I'm temporarily archiving this to keep it from continually showing up in search lists. Just contact us when you have the cache repaired, [RED]and assuming it still meets the guidelines[/RED], we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Don't hesitate to email me via the link on my Profile if you have any questions. [red]Please be sure to include the cache name and GC Code, or better yet, the URL of the cache page.[/red]

Thanks for your cooperation!

Geocache Description:

Camoed water bottle; log/swag; BYOP/P

Ample parking is available just past the GZ in a huge pull-out area. From that point you can access both this cache and the "2Fer Tube" cache from the same parking area without worrying about the fast traffic on the highway. Easy stroll on even ground to the GZ. This cache is placed at another terrific spot to view the lake back towards the dam.

Lots of traffic on the main highway so please keep an eye on the geodogs and geokids.

As always... dress appropriately when caching, watch out for elf arrows and be alert for rattlesnakes in the warmer months when caching in our foothills and mountains... especially around rock formations. Never use your hand to reach into holes or crevices... best to use a walking stick or some other long item to probe these places. Be forewarned that coords are not always great among the trees and peaks of the area as they often block reception with many of the satellites.
