Geocache Description:

Parking is available at the Great Mall or the Light Rail station located diagonally across Montague Expressway. This is a very busy intersection of Montague Expressway and Capitol Avenue. The crosswalks are well marked and there are pedestrian crossings, but please beware of cell phone zombies in a hurry to go shopping for clothes.

Adam and Eve would have loved this site.

We've passed this area many times on foot, wondering what homestead must have been here at one time amidst these ancient trees.

This cache will only last until the BART extension is completed in this part of town, but that's slated for 2016, so we have a little time to enjoy these lovely old trees and wonder about their secret past.

This is a large cache, loaded with goodies for all ages. It's very kid friendly, as long as the little ones are with Mom or Dad when crossing the street.

I've included a travel bug that was sent on it's journey by a Girl Scout troop in Texas and one that I'm sending out to honor my Dad's many years service in the Navy. Please move them along if you can.

Did you know the Great Mall was originally the Ford Motor Plant that produced, among other cars, the original Ford Mustang?

Postscript: This cache is in an easily accessible spot. No need to fight with a tangle of limbs, even if your GPSer takes you there.

Congratulations to Oaknest for FTF!
