This is one of a series on Churchill Island & surroundings, ideally suited to cyclists – Phillip Island has very good bike tracks and ample parking is just down the road at the Tourist Information Centre. Churchill Island is inaccessible from 5.30pm to 9am, so plan carefully and double-check signboards to ensure you don’t get locked in overnight! Access to the walking tracks (& the caches) is free; however there is a charge if you choose to enter the visitor centre & historic settlement.
From the SW corner of the paved car park near the visitors centre take the walking track adjacent to the cattle yards to reach the first waypoint – or you can approach via Chris.
