A walk along a quiet, relatively unknown beach on the Isle of Wight. May not be easily accessible at VERY High Tides.
This cache is hidden at the far end of the beach at Wootten. This can be a lovely place to enjoy a walk, a swim in the summer, or just a bit of peace and quiet.
The sea is designated as a Water Ski area, and the beach is easily accessible by boat if you happen to be out on the water (at higher tides, careful of the rocks to the East at low tides).
The sunsets can be absolutely glorious, and one of my friends children described the scene as looking like it was from a postcard... so it must be good! :)
The cache is specifically hidden away from the main area, to help keep things a little more stealthy.
It's a bit of a walk down from the nearest parking area, and it's a bit of a slope, so may not be suitable for anyone with walking difficulties. It's POSSIBLE as well, that at VERY high tides, that you may get your feet wet getting to the cache site, but you should be fine 99.9% of the time!
The container is a small, but decent size clip box, with space for a number of small items to swap.
