We have spent many enjoyable hours here wallowing in the mud, relaxing in the thermal pool and swimming in the cool refreshing lake.
There's a few ways to get there. You could either participate in a tour (most of the Dalyan tour companies offer the Sultaniye Hot Springs Tour) - sometimes in combination with a visit to the mud baths - or go to the harbour and ask for a boat to take you there or it is possible to drive turning towards the well sign posted mud baths from the Fethiye, Mugla Road Food and drinks are available. History The water at these baths was first used in Caunon times, then by the Byzantines.The ruins of the buildings from this period are submerged beneath the waters of the lake. Pilgrimages Turkish elderly people make pilgrimages to the baths due to the water’s 'healing powers' for neuralgia, rheumatism and skin disorders. and many more. Please be aware that if you wear any silver it will go black instantly as it touches the water and it is difficult to clean.
