Geocache Description:

The Heritage Walk at the Mackay Cemetery, on Cemetery Road, looks at the history of the Mackay Region between 1862 and 1883 and provides an insight to the lives of the Pioneers of Mackay. The walk is a one and a half kilometre circuit and takes about 45 minutes and can be self walked with the booklets, which are available at Mackay Cemetery & the Mackay Information Centre (located at the City Gates). The booklet expands on the lives of those recorded along the walk.

The booklet is now available online: (visit link) (see "Mackay Cemetery Walk" near bottom of page).

The Cache however will not take as long to complete if you retrieve the information and don't stop to admire the scenery, possibly about 20-30 minutes and only 300 metres of grave hopping and your all done.
The information you are looking for is located on the graves that are marked as part of the 30 graves in the Heritage walk, They are all located in the OLD half of the cemetery, not all of the 30 graves have been used but if you locate them all you will have all the information required to complete the cache and find the treasure of this puzzle
