A new park built in Wichita out of the old Chapin Landfill. This
seems to be an excellent use of old lands turning it into a great
new and large park, with lots of caching oppertunities.
I ran across this new park sign the other day and went and took a
look at it. This is a quite large park with river access, hiking
and biking trails, an RC Airpark and a dog park.
This cache is located on the bike and hike trails of this new park.
You will be hunting for a regular sized lock type box hidden very
well in with its surroundings. From this vantage point you can see
the river and even lots of wildlife. I saw eveidence of beaver and
even a bobocat in this area so if you are careful you may just see
some of the local wildlife.
Make sure you pay attention to the rating of this cache and be
prepared!
