This puzzle spotlights a non-native species that has spread widely throughout North America, in the process becoming a blight on the landscape. Some states—notably Vermont, Alaska, Hawaii, and Maine—have eradicated this scourge through aggressive government action. Other states—including, unfortunately, Utah—have not only failed to take action but have actually adopted policies that facilitate the spread of the species.

If you visit the coordinates listed below, you will be able to observe members of the species in their adopted habitat. By studying them carefully, you will gain the insight needed to locate the cache.
