ENG: Treppoja cascade is situated in place where the catchment area Treppoja, that is 10 km in length and 30 square km large, begins from Illurmaa and then slides down through the plateau slope into the Lahemere bay. In a one hundred meter radius on a 2-15 meter wide territory there are six 0,3-1,5 m high terraces (the overall height difference is 5,5 meters). The cascade hasn`t been able to from a canyon because of the lack of water and its young age. Treppoja is one of the most beautiful cascades in Estonia. Visiting it in summer or winter doesn`t make a big difference because it will never be to late to go there.
EST: Treppoja joastik asub kohal, kus Illurma klindineemikult alguse saav umbes 10 km pikkune ja 20 ruutkilomeetri valgalaga Treppoja laskub paeplatoo nõlva pidi Lahepere klindilahte. Sajakonna meetri ulatuses on siin 2-15 m laiusel alal kuus 0,3-1,5 m kõrgust astangut (summaarne kõrgusvahe umbes 5,5 m). Joastik ei ole suutnud kujundada kanjonorgu ja seda võib seletada nii selle nooruse kui ka suhteliselt väikese veehulgaga. Treppoja on Eesti kaunimaid joastikke ehk kaskaade ning selle külastamine, juhtugu see siis suvel või talvel, ei ole see kunagi liiast.
