Geocache Description:

A quick and simple cache in Elderslie, Renfrewshire

This is a quick and simple cache in Elderslie, Renfrewshire, though to be the birth place of Sir William Wallace.

Sir William is well known for being one of the main people starting the Scottish Independence war of the 12th century as England tried to take over the whole of the British Isles. Those who had not heard of him before would know who he is with the movie Braveheart.

Take time to read the information boards about him and view the monument created in his honor.

No need for a parking way point as, where to part will be clear when you arrive.
