Geocache Description:

We needed an easy snow-free hike on Memorial Day. Lots of the higher areas are snowed in this time of year.

Yellow Pine is a nice area around 7000 ft. It's great during the winter for skiing or snowshoeing too. I hung the cache about 7ft. high so it should be accessible all year round.

Don't forget the significance of Memorial Day too. From the Memorial Day Order:

Let us, then, at the time appointed, gather around their sacred remains, and garland the passionless mounds above them with choicest flowers of springtime; let us raise above them the dear old flag they saved; let us in this solemn presence renew our pledge to aid and assist those whom they have left among us a sacred charge upon the Nation's gratitude—the soldier's and sailor's widow and orphan.
