Geocache Description:

Leona Hall Price Memorial Park is a future Cobb County Park comprised of over 100 acres. The current plan, approved in 2006, is for a passive park with picnic areas, group shelters, walking trails, and a playground. Two bridges are planned for Allatoona Creek and most of the walking trails will actually be south and west of the creek. A greenway connection along the creek is planned to eventually connect this park to Allatoona Lake.

The cache is located about 1/3 mile from the parking area and is located only about 50 feet off the trail. Near the cache is a rocky beach area that at current water levels is perfect for skipping rocks. We also watched a father and daughter playing with their two dogs that were swimming in the creek.

Beware of ticks. They are really plentiful this year.

A $2 bill and two Air Force One items for FTF.
