This park is a nice walking. There was water on the trails the day I was there. If you want to keep you feet dry you might want to use water proof boots. I use sneakers and got my socks wet taking a short cut. You can easily walk around all the water I saw.
Mostly easy walking but very wet in areas, only very little street parking and a lot on mud on some of the trails.
Note: Being that this is very wet this spring beware there could be hungry mosquitoes!
I keep finding these new parks in Woodstock. They may not be lost to anyone but me. I found "Westwood Nature Area" today
It is out in the middle of no where. Well one side it!
It is a nice place to go for a walk. We even saw a deer today.
I couldn't find the way in to the park. Friends who live in the area showed me the way.
Be prepared to get your feet wet even on the trails. It was a little wet when we placed this cache. The cache is a little off the trail where we could keep our feet dry. Some places you may have to back track and go around. I only got my socks wet when I tried a short cut. We easily walked around the wet areas.
