The cache is a magnetic 35mm film pot.
The Belle Tout Lighthouse sits high on Beachy Head.
Unfortunately, being so high, its light could not be seen in the fog so a lighthouse at sea level replaced it.
Did you know that the Belle Tout lighthouse:
- was moved several hundred feet inland to stop it falling into the sea?
- appeared on one of the makeover programmes on TV?
