We went geocaching after five or six long days of rain in our area.
Much of the Orlando area was flooded, the retention ponds and
lakes, streams and rivers, creeks and every area that would hold
water was filled.

One of the nearby caches we
visited took us on a walk down a strip of elevated land
between a retention pond and your typical Florida watershed
area. When we got near to the GZ, our GPS showed that the
cache was thirty feet into the flooded watershed area. Oh
boy!!
Since I had on waterproof boots, I was elected the one to go in
the water after the geocache. I got about four steps in, when I
heard a loud splash to my right, and another loud splash to my
left. I immediately made a B-line to the dry area I had started
from.
What could that noise be from?? A moccasin? Alligator? Large
bird? Maybe a frog? You can only imagine, as I did, what it was.
Undaunted, I went back into the swampy area, and found the cache,
signed my name and even took a couple of Travel Bugs out. I put the
cache back, and headed straight to the dry area we walked in
on.

The coordinates are contained in the code, all you have to do is
find them, and then find the cache!
