This small park was once part of the old IBM / Hitachi campus.

GC1RT77. It used to be part of what was called the Homestead
and included a small golf course, duck pond, and hotel rooms for
customers when they came to visit the plantsite. This new park
contains four picnic tables with chess / checker boards, two bocce
ball courts, some benches, and a grassy area.
My old office, where I spent about half of my 30 year career as an
IBM / Hitachi employee, was about 500 ft from here. It was sad to
see all these old buildings and trees razed.
As this is a San Jose city park, park hours are sunrise to one
hour after sunset.
The cache is a magnetic keyholder, large enough for some some
trinkets, and contains a logsheet, pencil, and some trinkets.
