Geocache Description:

This cache is located in a park whose hours are dawn to dusk.


Welcome to

The "Tranquil Waters" we speak of are those of Lake Galena,
located in Peace Valley Park. The 365 acre lake was formed
by damming part of Neshaminy Creek in the early 1970's. The
name "Galena" refers to the mineral galena (lead sulfide, PbS)
found in the lead mines that were in the area.

The park has facilities for boating, hiking, fishing, and plenty
of trails ... some paved, some more rustic. So have a stroll
and a seat on a bench. Sit back and just enjoy the lake.
Oh, and don't forget, when the coast is clear slip into the
woods for a few minutes and find the cache ... it's a micro!
