Geocache Description:

The cache is located on the Buchanan Trail "blue blazed markers" in Stewart State Forest. It can be accessed from Maple Rd.

I got this container out of brian b's cache Buchanan's View and knew I had to hide it on the same trail I had found it on. It can be a G & G but I suggest taking the 4 mile hike from this cache to the other side of Maple. If you are really feeling nuts you can walk just under 30 miles and find every cache in Stewart, but I don't suggest it. I had two 14 mile days and still have a few left to find!

From experience I know that looking at Stewart on the geocaching.com map can be overwhelming. I think this trail will be a great start for anyone that hasn't been here yet.

The waypoints for Base of Buchanan will be very helpful.

This will be a light 60' bushwhack. Please remember to load up with tick spray.
