"Rundje um de kerk" 
Met deze wandeling van ongeveer 7 km maakt u een rondje rondom het dorp Beers. De route gaat onder andere langs het Kraaijenbergse Plassengebied. Dit maakt deel uit van de Beerse Overlaat. Tot 1942 stroomde bij hoog water de Maas binnendijks richting Den Bosch. Het gebied heeft van oudsher een agrarisch karakter. Vanaf 1968 wordt in het gebied zand gewonnen. Omdat het zand in deze omgeving van hoge kwaliteit is, kan het worden gebruikt voor de beton- en metselindustrie. Rond 2010 zal het ontgrondingsproject zijn afgerond. Er wordt een mooi natuurgebied aangelegd met veel recreatie mogelijkheden.
De route voert ook deels door een natuurpad, Dit pad was voor de ruilverkaveling een grootschalig agrarisch landschap, bestaande uit akkers, weilanden en rechte afwateringssloten. Het gebied is heringericht. Rond de bestaande Tochtsloot zijn een aantal poelen aangelegd. Deze poelen vormen een leefgebied voor amfibieën, waterplanten, waterdieren en insecten die in een waterrijke omgeving thuis horen. Naast het aanleggen van poelen is de oever van de Tochtsloot afgegraven, zijn er struiken aangeplant en is er een wandelpad aangelegd. Door de combinatie van bomen en struiken met veel zaden en bessen en water zijn er veel vogels en insecten waar te nemen.

De cache ligt op privé terrein en is vanaf het pad te bereiken. Er hoeft niet over een hek heen geklommen te worden.
De terugweg naar de parkeerplaats kan evt. via waypoint N51°43.655' E005°50.293' worden afgelegd of via het dorp.
English: This walk of about 7 km you make a circle around the village of Beers. The route travels along the lake district Kraaijenbergse plassen. Until 1942 the maas flowed at high water inside the dike to Den Bosch. The area has traditionally been an agricultural character. From 1968 sand is being extraced from the ground. Because the sand in this area is of high quality, it can be used for concrete and masonry industry. Around 2010, the excavation project completed.
