UPDATE 5-29-2023 Due to MLK Drive bridge rebuild, This cache is now only accessible from the North (upstream) side. NO REPEAT NO access from the Art Museum. The road is closed at Sweetbriar Dr. It's aprox a 1.75 mile walk to the cache.
This cache will bring you to one of the most photographed spots in the city. The view of Boat House Row from M.L.K. Dr. (West River Dr. to the locals). People stop here to take that famous pic. but do they ever stop to look down ? If they did they would see the "Fish Ladder" What is a Fish Ladder you ask. Well......Find this cache and find out.
The Water Dept. just spent a ton of money re-habbing the Fish Ladder and set up a underwater web cam and viewing area to give private tours of the inner workings of the Fish Ladder. When you arrive you will see lots of very high black iron fence and a few "No Trespassing" signs. The fence is to make sure you don't fall into the Fish Ladder and get a REAL close view and the signs are on the gates to the handicapped entrance ramp and main viewing area. The signs are very clear and there is NO REASON to open any gates or climb any fences to retrieve this cache. In Fact your feet will never have to leave concrete.
I was honored to be a part of this MMC series and therefor put some extra effort into this container and hide. Please take your time and don't give up. You will smile when you finally find it. Please take note of where and how it was placed and please do your best to return it to it's resting place so the next cacher will have the same experience that you did.
,
PLEASE READ ALL LOGS
DON'T GIVE UP.
KEEP LOOKING
WHEN YOU FIND THE CONTAINER, TAKE NOTE OF ITS PLACEMENT
PLEASE REPLACE AS FOUND
As for parking, The closest legal parking is in front of the Art Museum on the Parkway. If you feel like a stroll, you can park in any lot along West River Drive.
I feel proud to be asked to be part of this MMC series and hope you like my choice for this cache.

border="0">Micro Master's Challenge? |

|
Each micro is a unique work of art created and owned by each
Micro Master Team. In each cache there will be a clue that you must
gather and record. These clues will lead you to a final mystery
cache located somewhere in the SEPAG area. This series is bound to
challenge you, make you smile and reward you after every cache you
find. Remember to write down the code from this
cache!

Teams are allowed and encouraged! We recognize that caching
with a team is great fun but we also want to ensure that each
person joins the hunt for each micro before joining the hunt for
the final. You may also find these by yourself. Please follow all
the rules on each Micro Masters Cache page. |
