Geocache Description:

Health advisors suggest that we should all do a brisk walk (enough to get us slightly breathless) of 30 minutes duration, 5 times a week. This series is my version of that walk. Not just for health reasons, but also to keep my fitness levels up (especially in the off season) for my fellwalking.

This is a series of 6 geocaches taking you on a circular route of Clapham Common and the fringes of Brickhill. The first 5 caches contain information needed to find the 6th cache.

The Prize

As you walk from "It Begins to "Stride On" You will pass, in turn, Scott Lower School, Beauchamp Middle School and St Thomas More Upper School. Leaving habitation behind you gradually gain height on a graded path. As you approach "Stride On" you may glimpse the old convent through the trees to your right.In 1985 Clapham Park Convent was put up for sale by The Daughters of the Holy Ghost. they were forced to put the house on the market because of the dwindling number of women entering the Holy Orders.

The recommended parking and start for the walk is at N 52° 09.240 W 000° 27.908.

There is a pub and a cafe at N 52° 09.359 W 000° 27.809.

You are not looking for a 35mm film canister. Cache contains logbook,pencil, clue B and an FTF badge.
