byrdieb: Just got the hint that neither theres a holiday inn anymore nor a cache...so once you are there just see the monument. ..thats mght still be at this place. ..i remember the good time i spent there...still the memory is there but not the cache...so its archieved now.....

Geocache Description:

if you once have the chance to visit inner mongolia , have a stay in the nearby holiday inn hotel in Dongsheng..you ´ll easily see a " star of the grassland " .....but the real star is hidden nearby !

The container is a matchbox that is in a white plastic bag... Currently you ´ll find a small logbook , a pin and some pictures of Empress CiXi in...

Small note on cache maintenance: My business trips will bring me every some months to this location in inner Mongolia.
