How Geocaching Works

Geocache Description:

The cache is situated in Glentworth Woods, a small strip of woodland behind the Glentworth Estate near Oswestry. In the past few years the local bikers have used this space for some extreme bike jumps, well worth a look whilst on the the way to the cache. Although please be aware of the bikes zooming along the paths and be discrete when with the cache.

I suggest you park at N52° 50.726 W003° 03.436, on the side of the track, making sure the houses still have access.

From the parking location, walk down towards the houses and go through the gap in the wall on your left, this takes you into the woodland, past the bike jumps and onto the cache. If unsure which path to take, just keep to the right.

The cache contains the usual stuff, please don't remove the geocache notice, log book, pencils and sharpener. The cache is a small clip box, suitable for small swaps and trackables.

I found that getting a good GPS reading was fairly difficult due to tree cover, so I'd be open to a more accurate one.

Please keep an eye out for muggles, especially the two wheeled type, also be aware the cache is close to the back of the houses so try and be as secretive as possible.

Thanks for visiting, enjoy the cache!
