Geocache Description:

A Cache located on Pirongia's Esplanade Walk.
Nice walk, Not too hard.
Come see the floating boardwalk.

Pirongia, a popular stop by travellers from Auckland to the Central Plateau.
A 400ml Sistema camo container, placed along part of the esplanade walkway looptrack,near to the floating boardwalk.
Worth a look if you have the time.
Cache contains,log and pencil and swap items.
Walking the track is fairly easy with one downhill gradient leading to a stile you will have to cross.
Carry on to GZ.
If you reach the floating boardwalk,you have gone too far.
Recommend Parking at rest area.
Please dont park on reserve grassed area. Main Highway can be very busy.

Please dont remove the Novelty Pencil container.. It keeps the pencils dry and your witts about you!
