Geocache Description:

Well preserved fortification site in heart of Pirongia.

Well worth a visit and then following up on history of this area.
A significant piece of Architecture that will impress you.
Best done in good weather and in daylight.
Walk up to redoubt via active farmland
So don't bring your best shoes!
Enjoy the views and investigate the area.
Remove the cache lid to access the log sheet and don't loose the lid!.
Please bring a writing instrument as cache is micro with log sheet only.

This cache has had a few AWOL's so hopefully now it will stay put!
