Geocache Description:

In most cemeteries, you look for your ancestors 6 foot under.
This cache is found 6 foot over.

My ancestors, Captain Jack and Molly Steele are buried in this cemetery about 50 feet from this cache. They built the house that still stands on the corner of Arkansas and Poplar. Molly was the daughter of NWA entrepeneur Peter Marselis Van Winkle. They raised their three sons in Rogers and helped to build the city around the turn of the twentieth century.

Take time to browse around at the headstones here and learn of the amazing people who have contributed to the culture of the city.

This one's a Steele like me!
