This is a lock n lock container placed a short distance off the road into Pocahontas State Park's new Equestrian Center
This cache was placed for the Richmond Rally VI and in honor of Pocahontas's newest playground, the Equestrian Center. The most logical parking if the Equestrian Center lot is not open is the Old Horse Trailer Parking lot. It is almost two miles round trip from this lot. Another possibility is walking over from the main gate parking area. Please don't park anywhere on the road into the Equestrian Center as parking is NOT allowed anywhere on this road. Parking in Pocahontas does involve a fee that can be paid at the main gate.
We also placed two other caches in this general area, so at least the walk won't be for one smiley!
We were fortunate enough to see a turkey, fawn and box turtle as well as numerous birds, squirrels and insects while placing the cache. Good Luck
