We love walking through this little historic village and visiting the Clayburn Store. The cache is a micro container, with a log sheet and a pencil (unfortunately no room for a pencil sharpener or swag items.) Terrain is flat and wheelchair accessible. The coordinates listed are new as of July 4, 2009 - see log of same date for further details.
Clayburn Village is a unique, secluded little village featuring the Clayburn Village Store, an art gallery, a heritage church and school, plus the site of the old brick plant. Built early last century, this village of brick bungalows was a company town to one of the country's largest brick mills. Because it remains a residential community, it is a delight to take a quiet walk to enjoy the old buildings.
