Von Wildalpen gelangt man über einen steilen Weg in gut einer Stunde auf den Gipfel des Mitterbergs. Der Weg beginnt bei N47°39.964 E14°59.233 und ist in unmittelbarer Nähe der zwei Campingplatze in Wildalpen. Diese Wanderung ist ideal für zwischendurch, wenn man z.B. zum Bootfahren in Wildalpen stationiert ist.
Vom Gipfel des Mitterbergs hat man eine nette Aussicht auf die umliegenden Berge.
Zum Suchen des Caches ist gute Trittsicherheit erforderlich. Bei Nässe oder Schneelage nicht empfehlenswert.

From Wildalpen a steep trail leads to the summit of the Mitterberg (about 1 hour). The trail starts at N47°39.964 E14°59.233 and is near the two campgrounds in Wildalpen. If you stay in Wildalpen for whitewater kajaking, this hike is a good side activity.
From the summit of the Mitterberg you have a nice view on the surrounding mountains.
The cache is located in steep terrain. So please watch your step. I recommend not to search the cache in case of rain or snow.
