Geocache Description:

One of the waterways that seems to be lacking in caches so I thought I'd fix that. BYOP.

Blackwater Creek is one of the most beautiful waterways in the area. This side of the creek is perfect for canoes and kayaks as there less motorized boats on this side of the bridge. We saw everything from Osprey to Herons to ducks. Perfect place to launch is at Blackwater Trading Post where you can stock your cooler before heading out.

NOTE: There is a launching fee of $2. Make sure that you tell them you're launching a canoe or kayak otherwise they assume you're launching a motorized boat and charge you $4.
