I just could not stand driving by this awesome lake without placing a cache here. Nice little walk down to the lake. It has been reported this year, 2020, that the trail down is very overgrown so I kicked the difficulty rating up and the nice walk down may be a little harder now.
This cache is not but a few feet off the trail that leaves the parking area. It is a little steep at the start but should not be a problem for most folks and the kids should be fine. The cache container is a pill bottle partially wrapped in camo tape. There is nothing to write with so please bring your own. Bring your camera also. This is a very wonderfull place to take a couple of pictures of. This cache will probably not be a very good winter cache due to all the snow that falls up here most years. It might be .... some one will have to try it and let me know. Congrats to Heath468 for the FTF. Good job.
