Geocache Description:

While searching for a place to hide this cache, we came upon "the perfect spot" - a cubby-hole at the base of a tree. He put his hand into the hole to check its depth, and with a yelp, quickly pulled it out. He had touched something soft and warm! Peering in, we found a frightened and slightly annoyed frog who told us this was not the "perfect spot."

Gottlieb Heinrich Fink arrived in Edmond in 1890 and married Bennettie Nave. He established the Citizens Bank in 1901 and the Farmers State Bank in 1907. The Citizens Bank building is located at 102 S. Broadway and was placed on the national Registry of Historic Places in 1980. Gottlieb Fink was elected mayor of Edmond in 1929, Fink Park was created and named for him in 1930. This is a wonderful, rustic little park smack in the middle of town. You are looking for a camo'd container about 7" long by 4" diameter (contains a log, pencil, and a few trading items). Not appropriate for nighttime caching due to uneven ground, foxes nesting, and park closing. WATCH OUT FOR BARBED WIRE LAYING ON GROUND AS YOU ENTER AREA.

Mega congratulations go to the entire CONTROL group for their FTF under extreme conditions
