Power Plant Sun, Power from heaven

Bua kyrka byggdes 1972. 2009 har en större renovering gjorts och kyrkan återinvigdes på påskdagen.
Vid renoveringen installerades en sol-elanläggning.
Kyrktakets södra sida är försett med solceller som med växelriktare omvandlar lågspänd likström till växelström för nätet. Om elen inte förbrukas i kyrkan går den ut på ordinarie elnät.
Det finns 81 paneler på taket. Var och en ger max 165 W, vid maximalt solsken ger anläggningen 12 kW.

The church was built in 1972. 2009 the building was restored.
At the south side of the churches roof solar cells where installed. With a converter and a transformer low volt DC will become AC for the grid.
If the electricity isn´t used in the building it will be distributed out on the grid.
