This series of 6 caches are named after "Dexter" an American television drama series set in Miami. This is our favourite TV show and it is also the name of our dog “Dexter Doakes” who was named after Dexter Morgan the title character and James Doakes who plays a Sgt in the Miami Metro Police Department working alongside Dexter.
Each cache is named after a character in the series.
Sgt. James Doakes
Sgt. Doakes apparently worked as a Special Forces operative in Haiti about 15-20 years before becoming a Homicide detective. He is the only one on the force who doesn't like Dexter. The cheery, innocent-seeming young man gets on his nerves, and his passion for blood spatter gives him the creeps.
