Geocache Description:

message in a bottle
Once you've found this cache, you'll be stranded here for a couple of minutes. Take this time to write a message in a bottle. Besides simply signing your geocache user name, write a message to those who will come across this cache later. What will your message to the world be? Once the logbook is filled, I will publish the entries online.

This cache will take you to a somewhat secluded bench on the WSU campus. This area is part of the WSU Tri-Cities “Arid Lands Campus Preserve,” a site on the north end of campus that is being restored to its natural state and being used for study by students and the community. It offers walking paths that wind through the area, providing views of the campus and of the native plants on the site. The Preserve works in conjunction with the new greenhouse on campus to foster environmental restoration efforts by providing a wider variety and greater quantity of native plants and seeds. Please STAY ON THE PATHS while going after this cache. There is a path from the WSU parking lot, just to the right of the sign that reads, "Arid Lands Campus Preserve."

Since this cache is on a site of higher learning, I would like you to send a message (perhaps a lesson learned) out to the world - what would you like to say to everyone reading the cache logbook? What message will you send to the world online (since all of these entries will eventually be published on the web)?

You may keep your entries brief (or feel free to take up a whole page). Please remember that these entries will be read by a broad audience, so please make them appropriate for children to read.

NOTE: Please do not post your “message in a bottle” when logging your find. You can talk about your journey and hunt, but please leave the message only in the logbook for now. Thanks!

“First to Find” gets a WSU desk pen!

This small cache can hold a couple of geocoins and a very small travel bug.
