A baby Coke bottle hidden in a standard way.
When I was a school boy, we spent many, many sunfilled days at this lake. We would always pack a picnic lunch and head this way to fish, sun, and swim. Mostly for us kids, it was swim. We just couldn’t wait to get here to go swimming, and about here was where we could first see the lake, driving us into a wild frenzy. We would often just pull over on one of the pulloffs on the side of the road that are upcoming as you get closer to the State Park. Sometimes we would go on to the park and launch the boat and head to an island. Either way, it was good to grow up around here.
This is just a soda bottle preform container that marks a special memory for me here. There is plenty of parking for this one, and I hope you enjoy your visit now, as much as I did then!
This cache holds US Army Corps of Engineers Permit LOFO-GCP-61.
Thanks Mike!
