Geocache Description:

The Cache is located in Minnawarra Park Armadale

After driving past this park many many times we decided to stop and have a look around, It's such a nice area even with the main road so close by.
It is a casual stroll in well tended gardens with shopping and coffee shops close by.

A perfect spot for a cache (with a little work) made its self apparent while we watched the ducks. So here it is

The Cache is a 200ml Sistema container containing just a Logbook and pencil, with maybe some room for a Geocoin and small swaps.

cache is a dark green nano and it is on the silver grate, no need to go under the bridge... Not a brilliant hide but until they finish messing around with the bridge and the spot it is hidden it will have to do.

No hints until we see how folks go as it is our first cache and may prove to be way too easy.

Things to see in the area:

Minnawarra Historic Precinct

A series of developments in the 1970s - History House Municipal Museum
(1976), Elizabethan Village (1977) and Pioneer World (1980) have ensured that
Armadale has become a popular tourist destination on the edge of the city. It
was proclaimed the City of Armadale in 1985.

An obvious starting point for any visit to Armadale is the Minnawarra
Historic Precinct which is located on the edges of the extraordinarily
beautiful and peaceful Minnawarra Park.

Comprising an old school and a church (both of which have been rebuilt on
the site with loving attention to detail) and a museum the Historic Precinct is
an excellent example of a local council's commitment to the preservation of a
district's history.

The museum is an outstanding and well laid out folk museum with interesting
displays of Aboriginal artifacts and local farming equipment.
