Geocache Description:

This is a quick park and grab - just to give you a message and add to your numbers - with the added bonus of a discoverable geocoin.

I have always liked micros and the challenge they give. That is why jbsings2266 calls me "Mistress of Micros". I also like park and grabs as hiking through the brush for an ammo can full of MacDonald toys is only fun on sunny days, with friends or family and when I only want to do a few that day. For power caching, you need more of the drive-by micros. I do like to find some things in caches though. Geocoins and TB's are always fun and I do regret that they do not fit in bison tubes. (Of course, when you can barely even get the log in, it would never work to put in anything else. ) I wanted a container that was a bit bigger and could take a trackable. So when I found this “Awareness Mints” tin, I knew I had the perfect container. It is just the right size for a Geocoin or TB that is only the tag. It is the “Be Aware” part of the cache title and a reminder of the fight we have to get a cure for breast cancer. My mother is a breast cancer survivor and I wanted to honor that. I sent out a breast cancer awareness TB, but it got lost from the first cache I put it in. The TB showed up one year later in another area cache. The finder logged it for the first time and put it into the next area cache – which was muggled the very next day. So my TB is lost again. I am hoping that this message will stay out there longer. The other thing I needed was a way to add my trademark Grammy Duck to the cache in a permanent way. I knew that if I put in a tattoo, bead or charm, it would be taken. So I decided to add a picture of a duck to the cache container. The only picture I could find was the one I had of my duck geocoin. I then thought of a good plan. My duck geocoin is for discovery only and travels with me to share with other cachers who are icon addicts like me. I added a slip in my cache that has the tracking number of my ducky geocoin so it will allow you to discover it and get the cute duck icon. Please leave it in the cache for the next finder. The “Be Wary” part of the title is to remind you of the need for stealth. This cache is in the area of several many windowed offices buildings and there are often employees taking walks around the place. Early mornings, late afternoons and weekends may be better times to search unless you are very sneaky. The parking will also be easier during off-hours. There is the traditional finder’s gift, but in keeping with the theme of the cache, it is to go to the FFF – first female finder. It is a walking travel coin that is taped to the outside of the container. Congratulations to bolosky on the FTF without a GPS! and to DrTusk for the close STF.
