All Decked out and no place to go! Traditional Cache

GPS Derek: I was in the old home area this weekend and tried to do maint on this cache but the trail is... well gone. Someone long ago had the wonderful idea to put this deck here with a path going to it but after that it seem to be forgotten. When I lived in Pickering I would partially help the path stay open.... but its gone now.

Geocache Description:

You may be surprised as to what has now appeared at this location! It wasn’t there a few weeks ago.

Just off (or part of) the Pickering waterfront Trail.

Although the view has always been there the easy access and vantage point has just appeared and I felt it suitable for a easy cache to get people out to enjoy the view.

Easy hike to the location, about 300 meters from the recommended parking.

Final part of the trail is currently a bit rough but I expect it to improve shortly as construction completes.
