A fairly lumpy lane! Just off Mowbreck Lane is: A Biological Heritage Site (BHS) is a place that has been recognised for its wildlife value.
A lovely stroll along a bridleway - you cannot drive up this lane! Apart from signs saying so, you would probably bottom your car out! This is a medieval farm track, and the trees either side used to be hedges!
Connie is the daintily spoilt daughter of one of their mothers friends. Jo, Bessie and Fanny decide to introduce her to the Folk of the Enchanted Wood, but Connie, a rebellious child at best, soon embroils them in one hair-raising adventure after another in the world of Exotic and Magical lands.

I am very lucky to be living on the edge of beautiful countryside, so I’d love to share it!
This is a nice walk with all sorts of views from farms, chickens (you can buy some eggs while you’re there!), cows, hares, fields, the hills in the distant, and it’s not to strenuous for the more fragile of our geocahing community. In saying that, the lane does get a bit lumpy in places, so it is no good for wheelchairs or pushchairs – but you CAN let your dog off!
Once again, I have named these few caches after a few of the favourite Enid Blyton Books that I read when I was a child. I would like to share them with you too!
It’s best to do these in order as the caches are in a kind of zig zag up the lane, so if you go up one side and come back down the other, you will go whence you came!
You may need gloves depending on how the nettles are growing!Oh, please make sure you have a pencil handy!
