The Searching_Simpsons team found their first cache on 05/26/06
Old-time Bandstand GCVQ2M.
The parents of Mrs. SS dickandjane (in the picture) got them
started back then and they haven't looked back. I had the pleasure
of being with Mrs. SS when she found #1000 on 04/17/09.
Here you see the both of us holding the milestone, #1000 for her
& #1700 for me.
Her milestone was named MusiCache BLM3 GC104NP and located in
Bloomington. I had been promising her a cache to honor this feat
ever since, but I am just now getting it placed. Guess it's always
better late than never.
You are looking for an ammo can that has been sprayed in the
honorary silver paint. It has been hidden in the woods located
south of Springfield. Nearby are the "Lick" series caches and
several others. Cache is located about 50'-75' off the trail by a
normal geo hidey spot. Even though it is out of view of the trail,
cache is still hidden rather well. With all this tree cover, my
GPSr accuracy was at 10'.
The ammo can was originally placed with the typical swag as well
as a few TB's.

PS I parked in front of the cemetery along hwy 4 at the southern
end of the woods. It's just a short walk from there.
