Geocache Description:

Parking behind the Skateboard Park off of Lunalilo Home Rd From the intersection, go up two streets, make a right and follow to the end.

Several years ago, the City & County of Honolulu under then-Mayor Frank Fasi set up a series of community gardens for use by members of the various neighborhoods to foster community spirit and to illustrate the different cultural and diverse aspects of gardening from all types of people and all walks in life.
These are organic gardens, and of course, Hawaii has a broad range of insects that impose their own taxes. Some produce for the gardener, some produce for the bugs.
This area is also popular among young enthusiasts of many types of ball games, and is particularly busy early Saturday and Sunday mornings. Beware of muggles!
Do not cross the fence into the garden, but do take time to peek inside at the different crops.
